Crossbeam Systems Displays World's Fastest VPN/Security Platform at NetWorld+Interop

Check Point/Crossbeam Solution Scales to 10 Gbps Security Throughput

CONCORD, Mass., - September 7, 2001 - Crossbeam SystemsT, Inc., together with Check Point Software Technologies, (NASDAQ: CHKP) is delivering the world's fastest VPN/security platform. The recently announced solution, composed of the market leading Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 software running on the CrossbeamT X40T platform has already been tested running at over 3Gbps and is based on an architecture that scales to over 10Gbps of security performance from a single system. Check Point and Crossbeam are displaying the solution for the first time at NetWorld+Interop (Sept. 11-13) as part of the Check Point Software OPSEC Partner Pavilion (booth #1212).
