WebWasher's certification for Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 will advance enterprise security by allowing companies to integrate customized Internet content filtering with their existing security infrastructure. Among the security threats filtered from the Internet (HTTP) data stream by WebWasher EE are invasive "ActiveX Controls" and "exe-files" that, when invoked or executed, can read, delete or co-mingle data files.
