A.R. Ltd. Achieves OPSEC Certification from Check Point Software

A.R.'s MiniKey Integrates with Industry's Most Recognized Security Framework

Petach Tikva, Israel - May 6, 2002 - A.R. Ltd., a leading vendor of security and cryptographic solutions, today announced that it has achieved OPSEC™ (Open Platform for Security) certification for its MiniKey product, from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet. Through OPSEC certification, MiniKey seamlessly integrates with Check Point's Next Generation VPN-1®/FireWall-1® software, ensuring strong authentication method for VPN-1/FireWall-1 users.

MiniKey is a cost effective USB token that contains SmartCard technology, and is used for strong authentication in access applications such as Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions, Web access and Windows logon solutions. MiniKey gained market credibility for being the first USB token with RSA cryptographic capabilities and having the largest amount of on-card memory.
