ArcSight Furthers Commitment to Providing Open Enterprise Security Platform with OPSEC Membership

Program Involvement to Facilitate ArcSight Interoperability With Check Point Security Solutions

Sunnyvale, Calif., Jan. 22, 2002 - ArcSight, a leading provider of enterprise security management solutions, today announced the company has joined the OPSEC® (Open Platform for Security) Alliance. Created by Check Point™ Software Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), this security framework ensures interoperability with Check Point's leading SVN (Secure Virtual Network) architecture.

Entry into OPSEC, which includes more than 300 industry partners, is reflective of ArcSight's ongoing dedication to the security management needs of its customer base -- part of which includes building complimentary relationships with vendors of today's "best-of-breed" security solutions.
