from a wide array of data intrusion and denial-of-service attacks
with leading price/performance.
Check Point's "Secured by Check Point" Appliance program
is part of Check Point's Open Platform for Security (OPSEC) partner
alliance program. "Secured by Check Point" appliances
meet Check Point's stringent security, usability and interoperability
requirements, enabling customers to deploy appliances into their
networks with complete confidence.
Terian TCP VPN/Firewall appliances combine industry-standard hardware
with Check Point SecurePlatform (integrating Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1
Next Generation with a hardened, customized operating system) to
deliver maximum network security and multi-gigabit throughput with
low total cost of ownership. All Terian TCP solutions have undergone
a rigorous testing process to become certified as "Secured

Three Terian TCP models are available:

- The TCP13 mid-range appliance, with two to four Gigabit Ethernet
ports, designed for use in larger remote offices. TCP13 delivers
1.3 Gbps throughput and is available now for $3,095.
- The TCP23 high-performance appliance, with dual high-speed Intel
Xeon processors and up to eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, designed
for maximum stress environments as are often found in large corporate
data centers. TCP23 delivers 3.1 Gbps throughput and is available
now for $4,895.
