GE Access First To Deliver Sun LX50 VPN/Firewall Appliance "Secured by Check Point" in North America
Westminster, Colo., April 7, 2003, GE Access, the premier value-added technical distributor of complex computing products, services and solutions, has joined with Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) to integrate, deliver and support the Sun LX50 VPN/Firewall Appliance - "Secured by Check Point." This Linux-based integrated security solution allows enterprises to protect the privacy of business communications over the Internet and secure critical network resources against unauthorized access. This appliance announced in November 2002 is a high performance, low cost, turnkey, enterprise class security solution, combining the two market leaders' core competencies, and the distribution expertise of GE Access.
