Through this certification, AppShield 4.5 allows for seamless integration with Check Point's market-leading Next Generation with Application Intelligence software. AppShield 4.0 was originally certified with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 Next Generation software in March 2003. AppShield supports both of Check Point's OPSEC interfaces, which allow AppShield to block offending IP addresses and log critical security events to Check Point SMART in real time.
