We are pleased that the majority of network security vendors also recognize this need and have joined together as one through the OPSEC Alliance." The First Open Platform for Enterprise Security Check Point Software's Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity (OPSEC) is a single platform that integrates and manages all aspects of enterprise security through an open, extensible management framework, using a combination of published application programming interfaces (APIs), support for industry-standard protocols and a high-level scripting language. OPSEC allows customers to easily and seamlessly integrate a full spectrum of network security applications into the Check PointTM FireWall-1TM enterprise security solution to manage functions such as access control, address translation, authentication, auditing, accounting, encryption and content security. All facets of enterprise security are defined and driven by a single, central enterprise-wide security policy, ensuring that corporate security is safer, simpler to maintain and more comprehensive than ever before. As part of the program, OPSEC Alliance partners will receive the "OPSEC Alliance" logo, indicating that their products can plug into Check Point's FireWall-1 enterprise security solution through the OPSEC framework. Additionally, OPSEC Alliance partners can elect to have their products certified by Check Point, providing a measure of interoperability assurance to customers. Products passing this interoperability testing will receive an "OPSEC certified" designation and logo from Check Point to clearly designate these certified products. The OPSEC Alliance is open to all vendors providing the technology building blocks for enterprise security solutions including Internet/Intranet software and hardware, client/server applications, and enterprise security products.
