Pointsec builds momentum in Japan

Pointsec®, the global leader and de facto standard for enterprise security software for desktop PCs, laptops, PDAs and smartphones, today announced an order from Metro, a business partner and Pointsec distributor in Japan. Metro has purchased Pointsec licenses worth a total of USD 0.8 Million, a transaction that is booked in Q2, 2005.
Data protection and compliance with new requirements on privacy and corporate governance initiatives has rapidly become a major issue for Japanese businesses and government. This calls for action resulting in increased demand for authentication and media encryption solutions provided by Pointsec.
