Pointsec signs contract with ErgoGroup

Leading Norwegian IT services supplier orders 2,300 Pointsec for PC licenses for mobile users

CHICAGO – August 25, 2005

Pointsec®, the global leader and de facto standard for enterprise security software for desktop PCs, laptops, PDAs and smartphones, today announced a contract with ErgoGroup, a leading Information Technology services supplier, based in Oslo, Norway. ErgoGroup has made a commitment to Pointsec's data protection solutions by ordering 2,300 Pointsec for PC licenses, a transaction that will be booked as deliveries are made throughout 2005. A minority of these licenses will be used internally, to protect data with ErgoGroup's mobile users, while the majority is intended for the company's customers.

"Mobile users within all fields of business are carrying sensitive data which should never be lost, and the IT services business is of course no exception," said Peter Larsson, CEO, Pointsec.

"By protecting mission critical data for the company's mobile staff, as well as promoting Pointsec solutions to its clients, ErgoGroup demonstrates a firm commitment to address today's key security issues."

"Based on our experiences from daily use of Pointsec's security solutions over an extended period, we possess a thorough knowledge about their offering," said Ola Hugo Jordhøy, Senior Advisor with ErgoGroup. "This has led to the decision to purchase software licenses, and to extend our contract with Pointsec, so that we can also offer their solutions to customers. This way, we can provide superior data protection for mobile PC users, supported and centrally managed by ErgoGroup."
