Northern Trust Corporation Selects Pointsec to Protect Sensitive Customer Data
Enterprise-Wide Deployment of Endpoint Encryption Solutions Underscores Bank's Commitment to Customers
Stockholm, SWEDEN – January 16, 2006 – Pointsec Mobile Technologies, the global leader and the provider of the de facto standard for enterprise security software for laptop and desktop PCs, PDAs and smartphones, today announced that Northern Trust Corporation has selected Pointsec's endpoint encryption solutions to protect its customers' data and comply with certain regulatory standards. Pointsec for PC will be used to secure information stored on all of Northern Trust's desktop and laptop computers. The order was booked and delivered by Pointsec in the third quarter of 2005.
