Maximum security and performance
Ensure availability of business-critical applications with up to 40 Gbps of firewall throughput and total system throughput, for both firewall and IPS − up to 20 Gbps combined with hardware-based load balancing and a 160 Gbps backplane. With Check Point VPN-1 Power VSX, hundreds of high performance virtualized firewalls can be consolidated on a single X-series chassis. Virtualized Security Consolidation
The VSX security operations platform is a virtualized security gateway that enables the creation of hundreds of security systems on a single hardware platform, delivering deep cost savings and infrastructure consolidation. Based on the proven security of VPN-1® Power, VSX provides best-in-class firewall, VPN, URL filtering, and intrusion prevention technology to multiple networks, securely connecting them to each other and shared resources such as the Internet and DMZs. All security systems, virtual and real, are centrally managed through Check Point SmartCenter or Multi-Domain Security Management consoles. Powerful turnkey VSX-1 appliances further reduce deployment costs while delivering carrier-class reliability and scalability.

Infrastructure consolidation
The X-Series allows enterprises and service providers to consolidate network infrastructure (switches, load balancers, patch cabling, and power cords) and appliances that support security applications. Hardware Warranty
Check Point warrants that hardware components of its appliances shall be free from material defects and will function according to the documentation provided for a period of one year from the date of appliance activation by Check Point. If the unit has a hardware failure during this warranty period, customer can begin a RMA process. Please visit Hardware Warranty for more information.

Check Point Enterprise Support Lifecycle Policy
Check Point Enterprise Support Lifecycle Policy outlines the product support guidelines for a product's lifecycle. The objective of this policy is to standardize and normalize product lifecycle practices, thereby enabling Check Point customers to make more informed purchase, support and upgrade decisions.

All Check Point products (except third-party products sold by Check Point) are covered by this policy. Customers who are operating Check Point products under a valid Support & Maintenance Agreement are entitled to the benefits associated with this policy.
