Centralized management for managed security services

SiteManager-1, based on Provider-1 technology, is a multi-domain security management solution that enables service providers to deliver enterprise-class managed security services to small and medium businesses. For service providers, it consolidates customer security policies into a centralized policy management architecture that scales to support hundreds of businesses while minimizing hardware costs and maximizing operational efficiency.

The components of SiteManager-1 that enable efficient management of multiple Check Point gateways include:

Customer Management Add-On (CMA)
Via a CMA, an administrator defines, edits and installs a customer's security policies to the customer's gateways. Each customer can have multiple CMAs for high availability.

Multi-Domain Server (MDS)
The MDS houses the CMAs, as well as SiteManager-1 system information. Although multiple CMAs can be stored on the same MDS, each CMA is completely isolated, providing absolute customer privacy. Multiple MDSs can be linked in the SiteManager-1 system to manage hundreds of policies in a single environment, and to provide fail-over capabilities.

Multi-Domain GUI (MDG)
The MDG is designed to simplify multi-policy security management. Via the MDG, administrators manage the entire SiteManager-1 environment, easily incorporating new customers and their networks into the SiteManager-1 system. Using the MDG, administrators can provision and monitor security via a single console, and oversee rules, policies, logs, statuses and alerts for multiple customers.
