Management High Availability

Large enterprises need to make sure that all enforcement points are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure uninterrupted security coverage. Check Point management servers deliver integrated management redundancy to ensure continuous access to all management functionality.

Multiple SmartCenter management servers managing different sets of enforcement points can be connected to others by a "nervous system" that automatically synchronizes customer and administrator data. This eliminates the need to deploy dedicated redundant hardware and software.

Management High Availability Deployment

In the Management High Availability deployment above, active and standby SmartCenter servers can be automatically synced so that in the event the primary SmartCenter server goes down, administrators can access the standby SmartCenter server to manage the enforcement points normally handled by the primary SmartCenter server.
