Overview
UTM-1 Edge Industrial combines antivirus, firewall, intrusion prevention, and VPN technologies to protect networked industrial equipment on the production floor from unauthorized access and attack. As part of Check Point’s Unified Security Architecture, UTM-1 Edge Industrial can enforce a global security policy and allows administrators to manage and update these along side other UTM-1 Edge appliances. Check Point SMART (Security Management Architecture) management solutions can also manage UTM-1 Edge Industrial, as well as SmartDefense Services, which protect against new threats by providing real-time defense updates and configuration advisories.
