2003 CRN Certification Study
In August, Computer Reseller News (CRN) published a special report on certification, which highlighted current and future trends, methodology, ROI calculations for certifications, and many other important areas of interests with regard to the value of current IT industry certifications.
The certification study conducted by Computer Reseller News (CRN) favorably mentions both the Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) and Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) as two of the top certifications to garner solution providers the best return on investment (ROI) in CRN's 2003 Certification Study. This is the second consecutive year that Check Point has been listed in the top five. Results from the 2003 CRN Certification Study highlight the fact that certified personnel are highly valued in the industry and have a significant impact on profits and revenue. The study, which calculated ROI by dividing the estimated annual revenue generated by a certified employee by the total annual cost of that employee, ranked Check Point CCSA first among small solutions providers with a 98% ROI. Check Point CCSA ranked third among large solution providers with a 110% ROI and CCSE ranked fourth with a 104% ROI.
