Check Point Announces New Endpoint Certifications
April 2009 - Check Point Software Technologies Education Services is releasing 2 new certifications based on the Endpoint Security R70 solution:
- Check Point Certified Endpoint Administrator (CCEPA)
- Check Point Certified Endpoint Expert (CCEPE)

To prepare for these certifications, Check Point recommends attendance in the Endpoint Security R70 courses:
By attending these courses available through Check Point or any Check Point Authorized Training Center (ATC), your certified Check Point instructor will cover the course objectives which align with the exam objectives that lead to Check Point Endpoint Security Administrator (CCEPA) and Check Point Endpoint Security Expert (CCEPE) certification.
To qualify for the CCEPA, the candidate must pass three of the following exams:
- Exam # 156-701.70 (Secure Access)
- Exam # 156-706.70 (Full Disk Encryption)
- Exam # 156-708.70 (Media Encryption)
To qualify for the CCEPE, the candidate must be a CCEPA and pass the following exam:
- Exam # 156-707.70 (Smart Center with Pointsec MI)
How much will the exams cost?
The price of the Endpoint Security series exams is set at $150 USD. Only exam Exam # 156-701.70 (Secure Access), Exam # 156-706.70 (Full Disk Encryption), Exam # 156-708.70 (Media Encryption), and Exam #156-707.70 are priced at $150. Other Check Point exams are priced at $200 USD.
