How to Meet Certification Requirements as a Check Point Support Partner
Maintaining an up to date certification status is essential to providing the best pre-sales and post sales service and support to our customers.
Check Point Support Partners opening Service Requests need to have an up-to-date certification. A prior certification is considered to be “Inactive” if it was achieved more than 4 years ago*. Having an active certification is a requirement for opening Service Requests with Check Point Technical Assistance Centers specified in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Unable to Open a Service Request
If you are unable to open a Service Request (SR), that means our records do not show you have a certification or indicate your certification is out of date.
How to Meet the Requirements if you Already Updated your Certification
If you already updated your CCSE or CCEPE certification, please make sure to update your account in our system or in Partner Map. For questions, contact accountservices@checkpoint.com.
How to Meet the Requirements if you do NOT Hold a Certification or have an Inactive Certification
CCSE
If you do not have an active CCSE certification (certified more than 4 years ago*)
- Register to attend a Check Point Accelerated CCSE course. Training is available in an online format or as an instructor-led course from an Authorized Training Center (ATC).
- Schedule to take the Accelerated CCSE NGX R65 (exam #156-915.65) at a VUE testing facility. Pass the exam.
If you are not CCSE certified
- Register to attend Check Point Security Administration (CCSA) and Check Point Security (CCSE) courses. Training is available in an online format or as an instructor-led course from an Authorized Training Center (ATC).
- Schedule to take the CCSA NGX R65 #156-215.65 and CCSE NGX R65 exam #156-315.65 at a VUE testing facility. Pass both exams.
* If you’ve certified during 2005, your certification will still be valid through 2010.
CCEPE
If you are not CCEPE certified
- Register to attend Check Point Endpoint Secure Access, Full Disk Encryption, Media Encryption, and SmartCenter for Pointsec MI courses. Training is available in an online format or as an instructor-led course from an Authorized Training Center (ATC).
- Schedule to take the exams #156-708.70, #156-701.70, #156-706.70, #156-707.70 at a VUE testing facility. Pass all 4 exams.
