Certifications
You don't have to put Check Point data security solutions to the test. The Common Criteria and FIPS 140 certifications prove the point.
These important certifications demonstrate that Check Point delivers outstanding technology and makes it easier for businesses and agencies deploying Check Point solutions to prove to their customers, partners and shareholders that protecting sensitive data is a serious concern.
The CSIA Claims Tested (CCT) Mark
Check Point has received the Governments new quality mark award for their flagship product, Pointsec PC. The CSIA Claims Tested (CCT) Mark - a new government quality mark initiative for information security products and services, sets Pointsec products above its competitors as having the first mobile security product to receive the CCT Mark. More information from the UK Cabinet Office.
The award was announced by the Head of the Central Sponsor for Information Assurance (CSIA), Steve Marsh, speaking at Infosecurity Europe 2006. The CCT Mark is presented to companies only after stringent testing and evaluation of their products and confers a seal of approval so that Government bodies, Police and other local authorities can feel confident that the product will secure their data. Check Point Media Encryption (Formerly Pointsec Protector) and Pointsec Mobile products have also been granted this certification.
