Check Point SecureAcademy FAQ
The Check Point SecureAcademy Program is focused on providing security curriculum to colleges, universities, IT schools and other educational institutions. Although we are no longer accepting applications for the SecureAcademy program, existing members can order courseware and obtain program benefits through our SecureAcademy Partners only Website or by email.
Why is Check Point no longer accepting
applications?
While the SecureAcademy program successfully brought Check
Point training solutions to higher education institutions
and students, the program cannot support additional growth
and remain sustainable.
What support is available
for current SecureAcademy partners?
SecureAcademy partners can continue to order courseware
and access training materials through our SecureAcademy
Partners only Website to support already scheduled
classes or curricula. Specific needs or questions can be sent in email.
What kind of schools participate
in the SecureAcademy Program?
The schools in the SecureAcademy program are accredited universities,
colleges, post-secondary schools and higher education institutions
that provide career-specific, degreed, or continuing education

Does the curriculum prepare students
for certifications and provide real-world experience?
The curriculum does prepare students for two of the many industry
recognized Check Point certifications, specifically the CCSA
(Check Point Certified Security Administrator) and CCSE (Check
Point Certified Security Expert). All SecureAcademy partners
have access to Check Point Lab manuals that students need
to complete during their training. These labs provide the
students with the real-world experiences needed in today's
IT security market.
What are the requirements to become
a CSAP Instructor (CCSI)?
All CSAP instructors must hold the following certifications
prior to teaching Check Point curriculum:
