Implement procedures for monitoring log-in attempts and reporting discrepancies.

Check Point solutions designed to provide remote access, including VPN-1 and Connectra, record log-in attempts. In addition, these logs can be sent to management tools such as Eventia Analyzerand SmartView Monitor for real-time monitoring and response. Eventia Analyzer monitors log-in attempts across a broad range of heterogeneous security and network devices. It can be set to identify multiple unsuccessful log-in attempts, trigger alerts, and block further connection attempts.

SmartViewTracker and SmartView Monitor allow security administrators to view logging activity for all Check Point gateways. Eventia Reporter provides historical reports of logging activity.
