This information can be stored locally or remotely and used to restore configuration and service to Check Point products. Check Point's management architecture allows users to deploy a second SmartCenter server for automatic failover in an emergency. The inactive server can be activated automatically without losing any data. The servers are synchronized in real time so that there is no data loss, affording continuous access to critical security policy and log data.
