Check Point is Going
Carbon Neutral
The world is warming up. To avoid the consequences of climate change, we must work together to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
By joining the global action for mitigating the climate crisis, Check Point is doing our part to contribute to the goals set out in the Paris Agreement.
Striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040
Our Environmental Commitment
“We Secure our Shared Future”
As part of our mission to “secure your everything,” we are deeply committed to the protection of our planet alongside our digital world. Striving to look after the environment and reach carbon neutrality by 2040, we:
What We’ve Achieved So Far
Green Wall
4,000 square meters of GREEN walls serve as the basis of our headquarters in Israel, adding organic vegetation elements to the buildings, together with our roof gardens. The GREEN walls improve the energy-use efficiency of the building and offsetting GHG emissions.

Environmental Practices
- Water Efficiency: use of gray water from the building’s HVAC systems
- Paper Use Reduction: by issuing paperless certifications, licenses, technical manuals and support paperless infrastructure
- Waste Management: waste reduction strategies, reuse, recycle and composting of different materials

Achieving Energy Efficiency in Our Operations
- Lighting and automated systems to control light consumption
- Installation of 30% more energy efficient chillers
- Smart air circulation system in the parking lots
- Upgrade of UPS systems with 99% rate of efficiency
- Glass walls that can neutralize the heat
- Centralized control of the air conditioning systems

Assess Our Performance
We’ve calculated our Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions based on the GHG Protocol for our locations around the world

Our Next Steps
Emission Reduction Plan
We measure our carbon emissions from our corporate operations and continue to expand the scope of our calculations to include additional emissions sources. In addition, we are working to map the main sources of our corporate emissions and are working to strategize a plan to reduce our overall impact.
Monitoring and Reporting
In 2023, we published our first ESG Report, covering our activities and main areas of impact for 2022. The report was prepared in accordance with leading international standards. We are committed to continually monitoring and reporting on our progress as it relates to our environmental performance and targets.
Clean and Renewable Energy
We will continue to explore the use of cleaner energy solutions to power our operations.
We are excited to take action and contribute to the global efforts to create a more sustainable future for all.
