The world is warming up. To avoid the consequences of climate change, we must work together to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
By joining the global action for mitigating the climate crisis, Check Point is doing our part to contribute to the goals set out in the Paris Agreement.
Striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040
As part of our mission to “secure your everything,” we are deeply committed to the protection of our planet alongside our digital world. Striving to look after the environment and reach carbon neutrality by 2040, we:
Green walls: 2 dunams of a first-of-its-kind green wall on our 12-story building to improve the energy-efficiency of the building, offsetting GHG emissions.
Water efficiency: use of gray water from the building’s HVAC systems.
Paper use reduction: by issuing paperless certifications, licenses, technical manuals and support paperless infrastructure.
Waste management: waste reduction strategies, reuse, recycle and composting of different materials.
Energy efficiency and reduction of GHG:
We are in the midst of an ongoing process to calculate our scope 3 GHG emissions.
In addition we are working with experts to map our main sources of emissions and strategize a plan to reduce our overall impact.
We are planning to publish our first ESG report in the coming year, prepared in accordance with leading international standards.
We will continuously monitor our progress as it relates to our environmental performance and targets.
We are assessing opportunities to invest in cleaner energy solutions to power our operations.
We are excited to take action and contribute to the global efforts to create a more sustainable future for all.
