|Who is Vulnerable?||BIND 9 from BIND 9.1.0 (inclusive) through BIND 9.9.7-P1 and BIND 9.10.2-P2|
|Vulnerability Description||A denial of service vulnerability has been reported in ISC BIND DNS servers. The vulnerability is due to the way that the DNS server improperly handles invalid TKEY resource records. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted DNS query to a DNS server. Successful exploitation may cause the server to crash, resulting in a denial of service condition.|
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
