SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP2 and prior
Vulnerability Description A denial of service vulnerability has been reported in SAP NetWeaver.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to insufficient validation while parsing incoming requests to the Dispatcher service. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted Diagnostic request to an affected service. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the affected service.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the SAP NetWeaver DiagTraceHex Denial of Service protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
