  • Who is Vulnerable? Eaton MGE Network Shutdown all versions under 3.21
    Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Eaton MGE Network Shutdown Module.
    Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to improper sanitization of certain parameters. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted packet to the target server. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the server.

    In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

    1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Eaton MGE Network Shutdown Module Remote PHP Code Injection protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
    2. Install policy on all modules.
