Who is Vulnerable? Titan FTP servers prior to version 9.14.1628
Vulnerability Description A password disclosure vulnerability has been reported in Titan FTP Server Administrator.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to insecure authorization check. A remote attacker can retrieve the username and password for the administrative XML-RPC interface by sending specially crafted xml requests to the target. Successful exploitation could result in the disclosure of sensitive user information.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Titan FTP Administrative Password Disclosure protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
