Who is Vulnerable? HP SiteScope prior to 11.22
Vulnerability Description A command injection vulnerability exists in HP SiteScope SOAP component.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of "omHost" key value. A remote unauthenticated attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary command with the SYSTEM context on the vulnerable target.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the HP SiteScope SOAP Call runOMAgentCommand Command Injection protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
