Who is Vulnerable?	HP Data Protector 6.2x
Vulnerability Description	A directory traversal vulnerability has been reported in HP Data Protector. The vulnerability is due to a lack of input sanitization on a file name provided with Opcode 42. A remote unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to the vulnerable service. Successful exploitation could cause writing arbitrary files to the file system which could result in code execution in the context of the affected service.

This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R70 / R71 / R75 and above

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the HP Data Protector Opcode 42 Directory Traversal protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
