By enticing a user to open a craft TIFF file, an attacker may leverage the vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary code. In case of an attack where code injection and execution is unsuccessful, the application which uses the vulnerable library will terminate. In case of an attack where code injection and execution is successful, the behavior of the application will depend on the intended purpose of the injected code.
