Who is Vulnerable? Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition All versions prior to Oct12CPU
Vulnerability Description A cross site scripting vulnerability has been reported in Oracle Business Intelligence.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to improper input sanitization while constructing a certain error message. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a user to click on a specially crafted URL. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary script code execution in the context of the affected application.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Cross Site Scripting protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
