Who is Vulnerable? Novell GroupWise 8.02HP3 and prior
Vulnerability Description A code execution vulnerability has been reported in Novell GroupWise.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to a heap buffer overflow while parsing tokens within a specially crafted Novell Address Book (.nab) file. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted .nab file. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Novell GroupWise Address Book Heap Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
