|Vulnerability Description||Multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities have been reported in EMC AutoStart. The vulnerabilities are due to a failure while validating user provided values. A remote attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities by sending a specially crafted message to the target EMC AutoStart service. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target or cause the server to crash, resulting in a denial of service condition.|
This protection will detect and block attempts to send malicious messages to the server.
