    Vulnerability Description A Code Execution vulnerability exists in Internet Explorer. An attacker who successfully exploited these vulnerabilities could gain the same user rights as the current user. When Internet Explorer attempts to access an object in memory that has been deleted, it may corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker could host a specially crafted website that is designed to exploit these vulnerabilities through Internet Explorer and then convince a user to view the website.

    Protection Overview

    This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.

    In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

    Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

    1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Internet Explorer CMarkupTransNavContext Use After Free (MS13-037) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
    2. Install policy on all modules.
