Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description A denial of service vulnerability has been reported in the mod_dav component of Apache HTTP Server. The vulnerability is due to a NULL pointer dereference when processing a MERGE request with a URI whose source href points to a non-DAV configured URI. A remote attacker can send a crafted HTTP request to trigger the vulnerability and cause the HTTP server daemon process to segfault, creating a denial of service condition.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Apache HTTP Server mod_dav MERGE Request Denial of Service - Ver2 protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
