Vulnerability Description A buffer over-read vulnerability exists in the JPEG 2000 module. The vulnerability is due to an invalid JPEG 2000 input code stream leading to an invalid memory buffer location. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted file.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Adobe Acrobat and Reader Buffer Over-read (APSB17-36: CVE-2017-16374) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
