Check Point California Resident Privacy Notice
This California Resident Privacy Notice (“Notice”) supplements the information and disclosures contained in our Privacy Policy. It applies to individuals residing in California from whom we collect Personal Information as a business under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA/CPRA”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION, DISCLOSURE, SALE AND SHARING
As used in this Notice, “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended, including by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”).
Personal Information does not include information that is:
- lawfully made available from government records;
- deidentified or aggregated; or
- otherwise excluded from the scope of the CCPA.
The chart below describes the categories of Personal Information we have collected, disclosed, and in some instances sold or shared in the preceding twelve (12) months. The examples provided for each category reflect the statutory definitions and may not include all specific types of Personal Information we collect.
| Category | We Collect and Disclose |

| Identifiers | We may collect, use, disclose, and in some cases sell or share information such as name, postal address, internet protocol address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers. |

| Commercial Information | We may collect, use, disclose, and in some cases sell or share information such as which products or services users purchase, obtained, or considered. |
| Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information | We may collect, use, disclose, and in some cases sell or share information such as your browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with an internet website, application, or advertising. |
| Geolocation Data | We may collect, use, and disclose your approximate location, such as location derived from IP address. |
| Professional or Employment-Related Information | If you apply for a job with us, we may collect, use, and disclose information such as job application details, resume information, professional background, employment history, and qualifications. |
| Sensitive Personal Information | We may collect, use, and disclose sensitive personal information only as necessary to provide our services, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals. |
While selling is often understood to mean exchanging a good or service for money, the CCPA defines “sale” more broadly and separately defines “sharing” to include certain disclosures of Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Check Point does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. However, we may share Personal Information with third parties, such as event sponsors, marketing partners, and analytics providers, in connection with our marketing, analytics, and business activities. These disclosures may be considered “sharing,” and in limited circumstances a “sale,” under the CCPA.
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have shared Identifiers, Commercial Information, and Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information with such third parties.
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information as described below.
