Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced their speaking session, “Deploying IPv6 Securely” at RSA Conference 2012. Check Point Fellow, Robert Hinden and Chief Security Officer at VeriSign, Danny McPherson, will be discussing the security implications of deploying IPv6, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. PT at Moscone Center, Room 307, in San Francisco, California.
“As networks around the world transition to IPv6, individual organizations need to gain a clear understanding of the security challenges that go along with the migration from IPv4. Network professionals must thoroughly evaluate threats and security issues that are unique to IPv6, and adopt best practices necessary for a secure deployment,” said Robert Hinden, fellow at Check Point Software Technologies.
