Overview

The Nortel Networks Nortel Switched Firewall (NSF) 5111 is a "Secured by Check Point" appliance integrating FireWall-1 Next Generation. NSF 5111 is targeted at medium businesses and enterprise remote/branch offices, and features two copper gigabit Ethernet interface ports and 1 Gbps throughput. NSF 5111 can also be deployed as an entry-level "starter kit" for enterprises, offering the ability to add a Switched Firewall Accelerator (SFA) for higher performance, load balancing, and high availability features.
