  1. The Projected EOL Date is based on supporting the software release version for 3 years after the release date of the next version release. The date may be extended depending on the certification status of subsequent releases. The software is officially EOL when the Support Status column is updated to indicate EOL.   2. IPSO Releases 3.5 and 3.5.1 are E3 and EAL4 certified releases.
  3. Supported only on the IP350 and IP380 security platforms.
  4. IPSO Release 3.7.99 is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified. This release is validated for the IP350 and the IP380 security plaforms only. This release should only be used in situations where FIPS compliance is required.
  5. IPSO Release 3.8.1 BUILD029 contains only the changes necessary to support NSAS platforms 50s, 60s, 100s, and 500s. This release will only be loaded on the NSAS platforms delivered from the factory. This release is not necessary for the IP Security Platforms hardware. BUILD029 is available for download should one wish to rebuild a NSAS to run this IPSO version. Future IPSO Release 3.8.1 builds - i.e., BUILD033, will be supported across all platforms - including NSAS platforms.
  6. IPSO Release 3.9 is EAL4 certified with Check Point NGAI R55 and NGX R60 on the IP260/IP265, IP350/IP355, IP380/IP385, IP1220/IP1260 and the IP2250.
  7. IPSO Release 3.9 Build 45c is FIPS certified with Check Point NGX R60 on the IP260/IP265, IP350/IP355, IP380/IP385 and IP1220/IP1260 platforms. This release should only be used in situations where FIPS compliance is required.
  8. IPSO Release 3.9.90 is only for use with VSX 2.2N. This combination is NMDS V4.0. Supported platforms: IP380, IP740, IP1220, IP1260, and IP2250.
  9. IPSO Release 3.9.91 is only for use with VSX 2.3N. This combination is NMDS V4.1. Supported platforms: IP380, IP390, IP560, IP740, IP1220, IP1260, IP2250, and IP2255.
  10. IPSO Release 3.9.92 is only for use with VSX 2.3N. This combination is NMDS V4.2. Supported platforms: IP380, IP390, IP560, IP740, IP1220, IP1260, IP2250, and IP2255.
  11. IPSO Release 4.1 is EAL4 certified with Check Point NGX R60 on the IP260/IP265, IP390, IP560, IP1220/IP1260 and IP2255 platforms.
  12. IPSO Release 4.1 Build 20c is FIPS certified with Check Point NGX R60 on the IP260/IP265, IP390, IP560, and IP1220/IP1260 platforms. This release should only be used in situations where FIPS compliance is required.
  13. IPSO 4.2 BUILD051A04 was released only to the factory to support the IP2450. Not available on Support Site.
  14. IPSO 4.2 BUILD081 was released only to the factory to support the IP1280. Not available on Support Site.
  15. IPSO 4.2 BUILD051c is FIPS certified with Check Point NGX R65 on the IP260, IP290, IP390, IP560, IP1220, IP1260, IP1280, and IP2450 platforms. This release should only be used in situations where FIPS compliance is required.
  16. IPSO 4.2 BUILD084 includes support for the IP150.
  17. IPSO 5.0 was released to the web only. This release is only for use with Check Point VSX R65, and supports the following platforms: IP390, IP560, IP690, IP740, IP1220, IP1260, IP2250, IP2255, IP2450.
