Maxon Services Broadens Managed Security Offering with Check Point Software's SiteManager-1 and Provider-1

Solutions Address eBusiness Security Needs of the Small-to-medium and Large Enterprise Markets

Montreal, Quebec, Canada, June 20, 2000 – Maxon Services, a leading Canadian provider of Check Point Software Technologies managed VPN-1/FireWall-1 services, and Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that Maxon Services has extended its managed security offerings to include Check Point SiteManager-1 to address the needs of small-to-medium size businesses, and Check Point Provider-1 to manage the Internet security for the large enterprise. With SiteManager-1 and Provider-1, service providers can now deploy market-leading security to both small-to-medium businesses as well as large enterprises.

The purchase of these Check Point products is part of Maxon's strategic initiative to dominate the managed network security market in Canada and to further increase Maxon's ratio of service-to-product revenues in the next 12 months.

Provider-1 is Check Point's carrier-class management solution for Internet service providers and large enterprises. Both management systems can scale to manage thousands of customers.

SiteManager-1 and Provider-1 are based on Check Point's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture and are designed to provide service providers with a cost-effective solution for deploying managed VPN and firewall services.
