Rainfinity, Check Point, Compaq, NetIQ and Trend Micro Kick Off "Mastering the Art of Networked Security" Seminar Series

Twelve-city Tour Focuses on Integrating High Availability and Security Best Practices

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 5, 2001 -- Rainfinity, the provider of continuous availability software for business transactions over the Internet, in conjunction with Check Point Software, Compaq Computer Corporation, NetIQ and Trend Micro Inc., today launched a seminar series entitled ‘Mastering the Art of Networked Security.' The focus of the seminar series is to help IT managers learn how to create a more secure enterprise by integrating high availability and security best practices within their server and network infrastructures.

The first seminar will take place on April 17, 2001, in Washington, D.C. at the American Institute of Architects. Other seminars will follow throughout April and May 2001 at museums and cultural venues in locations across North America.

This cooperative educational forum is geared towards directors and managers of information technology, as well as networking and security professionals, and will provide information on how to:

  • increase security by deploying high availability platforms;
  • address content security needs across networks;
  • implement next-generation firewall and security technologies;
  • leverage high availability practices for network security;
  • monitor servers and applications in real-time to keep them both secure and available.
