announced a strategic relationship to deliver comprehensive managed
security services targeting small businesses. The companies will
co-develop and co-market a comprehensive managed security solution
that will provide small businesses with proven technology that is
reliable, affordable and easy to deploy.
The solution will be based on Check Point Safe@Office™, a
high-speed security appliance designed especially for the small
business, combined with the McAfee® VirusScan® ASaP, an
online virus protection service that provides a hassle-free solution
for businesses looking to outsource the burden of their anti-virus
management. Uniquely protecting the needs of the small business,
the solution will deliver out-of-the-box firewall and anti-virus
protection with additional capabilities such as Virtual Private
Networking (VPN) and content filtering.
