Vulnerability Details Keystroke logging (often called keylogging) is a method of capturing and recording user keystrokes. Keylogging can be used to provide a means to obtain passwords or encryption keys and thus bypassing other security measures. KeyLoggers are widely available on the Internet. |
Protection Overview
By enabling this protection, IPS will detect and block the KeyLogger on SMTP traffic.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest SmartDefense update. For information on how to update SmartDefense, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
