| Vulnerability Description A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Apple QuickTime. Apple QuickTime is a multimedia player that supports a wide range of media formats, including Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary code on the vulnerable system. |

Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to boundary errors in Apple QuickTime that fails to properly process RTSP responses with crafted Content-Type header. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw via a specially crafted RTSP response. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows execution of arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. |
