Who is Vulnerable?
Symantec Web Gateway 5.0.x prior to 5.0.3
Multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities have been reported in Symantec Web Gateway.
The vulnerabilities are due to improper input validation by the web server. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to click on a specially crafted link or submit a web-form with crafted values in its fields. Successful exploitation could result in attacker-controlled script execution in the browser context of the Symantec Web Gateway management console.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
