A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in Adobe Acrobat and Reader.
Apply patches from: APSB12-16
The vulnerability is due to memory corruption while loading a PDF containing a specially crafted JBIG2 file. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a malicious PDF file with an affected version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to take complete control of an affected system.
IPS will detect and block the transferring of malicious PDF files.

- In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Adobe Reader JBIG2 File Memory Corruption (APSB12-16) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
- Install policy on all modules.
