Vulnerability Description A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Edge. The vulnerability is due to improper handling of objects in memory. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target victim to open a specially crafted web page that could cause memory corruption in a way that would allow attackers to execute code on the target system.

Security Gateway R77 / R76 / R75

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft Edge Memory Corruption (MS17-007: CVE-2017-0034) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.

This protection's log will contain the following information:
